At the heart of every stay is a hearty, traditional Shropshire Breakfast.
We really do believe that the best way to start the day after a refreshing and comfortable night’s sleep is with a breakfast to which we can really look forward.
We use fresh local meats and ingredients throughout our breakfast fare, whether it be the selected local bacon, delicious local sausages and unique Shropshire offerings – you’ll have to come and find them on our menu!
Typically a wide range of cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruit salad will provide a starter for the main breakfast event. And since day one we have also catered for all ranges of dietary requirements and preferences, whether they be Vegan, Vegetarian or Gluten-Free. We have two such individuals in our own family, and are well used to sourcing proper ingredients and employing appropriate cooking methods!
Time was when Churchdown House received the English Tourist Board accolade for outstanding breakfasts every year, and since those days we have not lowered our standards a jot! We take pride in our Shropshire breakfasts, and hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.
